Martin Wins Democratic Primary
Martin easily won her primary against Karl Price, receiving 72% of the vote.
Although both have long histories with the office, Martin received strong support from the rank and file, including an important endorsement from O’Connell.
Martin currently leads the office's Civil Division, overseeing legal counsel for Louisville Metro Government and legislative services for Louisville Metro Council.
Price worked in the office for nearly 25 years, from the early 1990s until he was fired in 2015.
